Remove all the clutch cover bolts. The ignition pulse generator is in the clutch cover so it has to be disconnected from the wiring harness. The connector is under the left radiator. Disconnect it and with the help of a patient friend fish it through the maze between the cylinders. |
Now you have to carefully pry the clutch cover off. The combination of sticky gaskets and locator dowel pins makes this a delicate job.. |

Honda provides pry points on the cover so you do not mar the gasket surface. There is one in the rear (pictured) and one in the front |
With the cover removed you can see the components. The large circular object where the clutch world be is a sound deadener. |
