. Valve Parts

Here are the parts of the Gold Valve kit. Note: The parts are displayed in the plastic packaging that the kit comes in, which is a handy way to keep track of the parts. All of these kits are some what generic. Some of these parts do not apply to the VTR. Notice the two washers (shims(?)) that have slightly larger holes that the others. These are the one way valves. There are more shims than what are shown here. They are very thin and stick together. Make sure you have them all separated. The compression valve is made of what they call a stack. Which is a stack of the shims going from the largest to the smallest. The number of large shims is determined by your weight. The instructions provide a chart to determine the number of shims to install in the stack.
