
These are the basic tools needed for the project. A #2 phillips screw driver to remove the Master Cylinder cap. A standard width flat blade screwdriver to remove the brake pad pin cover, if you are going to use DOT5. Four combination wrenches of 14, 12 10 and 8 mm. A good set of allen wrenches. In this case we use professional grade allen wrench sockets on a ratchet wrench. I highly recommend you use this type of setup since using cheap L shaped allen wrenches can cause damage to allen bolts. You should also purchase, make or get your hands on some type of vacuum extraction system for brake systems. You do not need this device to do the project but it will make it go much easier and very much faster!
