StarField is a Star Trek style screen saver for all you Trek fans. (Win95/98/ME/XP & NT 4.0 only - 248k) Version 2.9  Fixed some errors generated on hi-res screens and added a SLOWER option to slow things down on the new faster systems.*

FireSaver is a HOT screen saver. (Win95/98/ME/XP & NT 4.0 only - 18k) Sets your screen on fire!*

MyFire in a window! (Win95/98/ME only - 14k) Same as above but not a screen saver and is in a size adjustable window. This is a good program to test the multitasking capabilities of Windows. Just fire up multiple copies of the program and watch the performance changes. *

AVI file playing Screen Saver. (Win95/98/ME/XP only - 99k) This program will play any *.avi as a screen saver. If the avi file has sound it will play the sound also. It will expand the avi to fill the entire screen no matter what resolution you are using. The file has to be named AVISAVER.AVI and reside in the \windows\system directory with the program. *

FLC file playing Screen Saver. (Win95/98/ME/XP only - 17k) This program will play any *.flc as a screen saver. If the flc is smaller than the current screen it will be centered with a black border. The file has to be named FLCSAVER.FLC and reside in the \windows\system directory with the program. *

Encrypt Notes 2
(Pocket PC 2003 SE, WM5)  This is a simple Note saving program that encrypts the notes in 256 bit AES encryption.  I wanted as simple free form data saving program to keep passwords, logins etc.  All the commercial programs were too complicated, forcing you to put the data in fields.  This is just a simple text input like the Notes program.  No pictures, no ink, just plain text.  When you first start the program you have to create a login key.  just enter a login from 4 to 32 characters long.  Then use it each time you login on to the program.  When you create a new note it uses the first line of the note for the default file name.  This program uses Version 2.0 of the .NET Compact Frame work.  If yo do not have the frame work loaded on your Pocket PC you can download it by clicking here. (5+ megs)  It is a CAB file.  Just copy it into the Pocket PC VIA ActiveSync and then tap on it.  It will then install and delete itself.  Next download Encrypt Notes 2 by clicking here and do the same with it.

If you want to design a 4 stroke exhaust system or calculate the power of your engine, this program may be for you.

Click here to download program.  It is 1669KB in size.  It is a self extracting Zip file.  Extract the files in a temporary directory and run the setup.exe program to install the TopSpeed program.

This version runs on 98/ME/2000/XP

Click here for the .NET version of TopSpeed (391kb).  Only for Win98/ME/2000/XP.  This is in a msi file (MicroSoft Installer).  Just open or save to your hard drive then open it.  Follow the install instructions.  You have to have .NET Framework 1.1 or higher installed on your PC before this will work.  You can download and install the framework by clicking here.  But be warned that this is a 23+ meg file and should not be downloaded with a dialup connection.

This version runs on Pocket PC 2002 and 2003.

Race Log Motorcyle Racing Log Book and more.

This is an electronic log book to keep records of your racing efforts.  You can enter the race event you are at, the tires and tire settings, suspension and settings, tuning, results.  It includes the gearing module from TopSpeed.  It also has a lap counter Stop Watch that keeps all the laps in a file with the lap speed for later reference and coparison.  Originaly developed for use on a Tablet PC it works fine on a normal PC.  This program requires Version 2.x or higher of the .NET Framework.   You can download the framework by clicking here.  Click here to download Race Log (2059kb).  Nothing else will be need for PCs with XP or Vista.  For earlier versions of Windows you also need Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.6 or higher.  The easiest way to determine if you need it is to install the program and when you try to run it it will display a warning indicating you need to install the new MDAC.  You can download the installer for MDAC from Microsoft  You can download 2.6 here.

* Please Note:  The screensavers work on my machines.  I cannot guarantee they will work on your machine as there are way too many different pieces of hardware out there.  Especially the StarField screensaver.  It is very animated and some video cards will not work properly.  If it does not work just delete it and move on.
